About The Position

You will report directly to the Sr Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Freeport, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the mechanical design process by delivering high-quality and reliable products that meet customer needs and expectations. Your insights and recommendations will help drive the company's strategic direction in mechanical design and development. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
• Be a US Person.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in product testing and validation.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the mechanical design process, from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications.
• Design and develop complex mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
