About The Position

The Meat Wrapper is responsible for handling, weighing, wrapping, pricing, and labeling meat products while ensuring a clean work area. This role emphasizes customer service and adherence to safety and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma - General Studies
• 0-2 years of Retail/Meat Department experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Specialized knowledge to identify all cuts of meat.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process meat and meat products according to company policy.
• Weigh, wrap, price, and label all meat products accurately.
• Maintain proper case conditions by cleaning, stocking, and rotating products.
• Provide attentive and courteous customer service to promote sales.
• Follow directions from the Meat Manager or Manager on Duty and perform other assigned duties.
