About The Position
Cardenas Markets is seeking a retail store Meat Wrapper to join our team. Under direct supervision, the Meat Wrapper specializes in preparing, cutting, processing, and wrapping meats, maintains cleanliness within the work area, fills product displays, checks dates to rotate products, and provides exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Valid Food Handlers Card;
- Prior food preparer experience at a grocery store required;
- Must be friendly and people oriented;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work professionally as part of the team and provide excellent customer service;
- Utilize machines to wrap, seal and labels meats, poultry, and seafood;
- Clean and cut meat as needed;
- Restock and organize displays to ensure they are clean and organized;
- Maintain safety and health guidelines;
- Assist Meat Cutter and Meat Clerk.
