Requirements

Basic Mathematics (Add, subtract, multiply, divide)
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Prior supervisory experience
Lift, twist, move, hold, and carry a maximum of 80 lbs., from the floor to shelving, or overhead racks in the store and cooler/freezer

Responsibilities

Greet, assist, and ring out all customers politely
Wrap cuts of meat and by pound meat carefully and within all standard health codes
Ability to comprehend and provide complex verbal instructions and descriptions concerning store policy and procedures, and usage of equipment
To supervise/perform organize the cooler/freezer/preparation area for receipt of merchandise, verify the merchandise against the invoice, inspect the delivery for shortages/damage and quality, sort cases for stocking or product preparation and code-date all case items in the cooler/freezer
Properly lift and hold various cuts of meat through a full shift, extensively ensuring proper wrapping standards
Maintain active signage and pricing in all departmental areas
Care for signs, banners, and debris from daily operations
Accurately and efficiently handle cash, debit/credit, EBT/WIC, coupons, and vouchers
Respond to customers, coworkers, and vendor questions and responses promptly and politely
Proper usage of store phone and intercom systems
To supervise/perform the checking of case and cooler temperatures 4 times daily utilizing the time keeping system to record each check.
