Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a meat processing or food production environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in food safety or HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
  • Experience operating industrial meat processing machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain meat processing equipment such as slicers, grinders, and packaging machines in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform cutting, trimming, deboning, and portioning of meat products following specific guidelines and customer specifications.
  • Inspect raw and processed meat for quality, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment to meet regulatory and company hygiene standards.
  • Document production activities, including batch records and equipment maintenance logs, to support traceability and quality control.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety protocols to minimize risk of injury and ensure a safe working environment.
