About The Position

The Meat Plant Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Gold Canyon Meat Company warehouse. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating warehouse activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and managing a team of associates to optimize performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong people skills and excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in warehouse management or supervision.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Advising associates on safety and ensuring they work in a safe manner.
• Communicating with other departments such as Logistics, Scheduling, Purchasing, Sales, and Transportation.
• Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed to maintain associate satisfaction and reduce safety incidents.
• Assigning workers to specific duties including verifying incoming merchandise and loading outbound merchandise.
• Advising associates on the care and preservation of products to minimize inventory dumps.
• Directly supervising 10-30 associates on warehouse protocol.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
