About The Position

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Meat Packers. In this role, you will be responsible for packaging meat products on a food production line according to company standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or packaging preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand, lift, and move heavy objects for extended periods.
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform measurements and calculations accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
  • Knowledge of state health and hygiene regulations for food handling and preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Operate packaging machinery and equipment to package meat products, such as beef, pork, chicken, and seafood, on a production line.
  • Weigh, portion, and package meat products according to specified weights, sizes, and packaging requirements.
  • Inspect meat products for quality, freshness, and proper packaging, removing any damaged or defective products from the production line.
  • Label packaged products with accurate information, including product name, weight, price, and expiration date.
  • Stack and palletize packaged products for storage, shipping, and distribution according to company procedures.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and sanitation guidelines to ensure food safety and product integrity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including equipment, tools, and storage areas, to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals, deadlines, and quality standards.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
  • Adhering to and implementing the company’s health and safety guidelines.
