About The Position
Sugar Hill Farm is looking to fill a meat packaging position on Tuesdays from 8am-4pm, hours may vary. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and quality.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift and move heavy meat lugs
- Familiar with food safety standards and regulations
- Ability to learn and follow USDA sanitation rules
Responsibilities
- Package various cuts of meat
- Vacuum seal packages for freshness
- Identify and label meat cuts correctly
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
