Duties: -Meat cutting and merchandising with proper trim -Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of meat cutting equipment including band saws. -Following proper Safety and Sanitation Procedures -Acquiring the skills and experience necessary to eventually become a Meat Cutter. -Assist in unloading trucks -Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and properly rotating stock. -Wrapping meat and working display cases as necessary -Assist in check in of trucks -Other duties as assigned by the Meat Manager on Duty.
