This Full-Time Meat Manager position is located at Cub Foods Lake Street and involves preparing and merchandising meat and seafood products, managing schedules, training staff, and maintaining a clean store, all while promoting excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Is friendly and outgoing and promotes customer service for the entire team
  • Has experience working in meat department (2-3 years preferred)
  • Knows about meats, seafood, seasonings, and good recipes
  • Attended Food Safety training
  • Is motivated to grow their career and continue learning
  • Ability to lift/carrying to 95 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 2200 force lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Make lasting connections with our customers
  • Prepare meat and seafood products including a variety of beef, fish, poultry, and pork
  • Fill and rotate cases and displays (may be some heavy lifting-up to 50lbs)
  • Assist with merchandising and receiving products to keep our shelves full
  • Create and manage weekly work schedules for entire team
  • Train and develop future Meat and Seafood Managers
  • Wrap, cut and tray a variety of products and help manage shrink
  • Help maintain a clean and sanitary store
