About The Position

The Production Grader/Marinator positions are vital roles in the company, responsible for grading and inspecting food products to ensure quality and consistency. These positions play a critical role in maintaining high standards of product quality and adhering to food safety regulations. The Production Grader/Marinator also assists in packaging and labeling products for shipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Attention to detail and ability to spot product defects or abnormalities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Basic math skills to accurately measure and calculate product quantities.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and work according to established processes.
  • Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
  • Previous experience in a food production or grading role is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Grade and inspect food products according to established quality standards, including appearance, texture, color, and size.
  • Remove any damaged or substandard products from the production line and report them to supervisors.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
  • Assist in packaging and labeling food products, ensuring accurate weights, quantities, and labeling information.
  • Operate and maintain grading and sorting equipment, performing regular maintenance and cleaning as required.
  • Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and quality control measures.
