About The Position

The Meat Cutter is responsible for preparing, cutting, trimming, and packaging fresh meat products to company standards for quality, safety, and presentation. This role is open to candidates with prior meat-cutting experience or those who have hands-on experience using precision hand tools in related industries. We are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate strong manual skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety.

Requirements

  • Experience working with hand tools requiring precision, consistency, and safety awareness
  • Willingness to learn meat-cutting techniques and food safety practices
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a meat cutter, butcher, or meat processor
  • Experience in related fields such as manufacturing, fabrication, woodworking, culinary prep, or similar hands-on trades
  • Familiarity with knife safety and blade maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Cut, trim, portion, and prepare meat products according to specifications and customer needs
  • Safely operate and maintain hand tools and equipment commonly used in meat processing (knives, saws, grinders, slicers, etc.)
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment
  • Work efficiently while maintaining high standards for product quality and yield
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production and customer service goals
