About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at The Mercato. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meats to display and sell.

Requirements

• Knowledge of different cuts of meat and how to prepare them
• Ability to use various cutting tools such as knives, saws, and cleavers
• Attention to detail to ensure that all cuts are precise and consistent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Good communication skills to work effectively with other staff

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare different types of meat for cooking
• Ensure that all meat is properly stored and labeled
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring meat levels and ordering supplies as needed
• Assume other duties as assigned.
