About The Position

The Meat Cutter III performs advanced meat cutting tasks independently while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. This role requires expertise in processing high-volume production and operating specialized meat cutting equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years of food industry experience preferred.
  • California Food Handlers Certification required.
  • Advanced knife skills and knowledge of meat cutting techniques.
  • Strong math skills and understanding of meat processing methods.

Responsibilities

  • Cut and process 17,000–30,000 pounds of meat daily.
  • Operate equipment such as band saws, dicers, slicers, and tumblers.
  • Follow GMPs, food safety, and company safety procedures.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure proper working condition.
  • Mentor and support Meat Cutter I & II team members.
  • Assist with meat product order management.
