The Senior Meat Cutter is responsible for all aspects of meat production as required by department standards, working primarily in the Cutting Room. This role involves the preparation of meat items for sale, ensuring maximum yield and productivity by following the cutting list. The Senior Meat Cutter will also handle customer requests, provide custom cuts, and perform tasks such as grinding, chipping, chopping, wrapping, housekeeping, sanitation, and machine maintenance. Additionally, secondary duties may include working on the sales floor, stocking, rotating, pricing, merchandising, and assisting customers during evening or weekend rotations.
