About The Position

The position involves providing fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. The employee will maintain acceptable product levels for good selection within all meat cases to promote optimal sales opportunities. The role requires adherence to standards in preparing and wrapping meat as directed, as well as maintaining proper sanitation and safety standards according to established procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic literacy skills.
• Satisfactory performance reviews.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling their requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Ensure adequate product levels, pricing, expiration dates, and remove damaged/expired products in the meat and deli frozen case.
• Rotate products to ensure proper coding/dates and remove damaged/expired products.
• Prepare and grind sausage and cube steaks, and wrap meat products as required.
• Perform sanitation duties within the department according to corporate and state regulations.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Benefits

• Pay range of $15.75 - $19.30
