About The Position

Woodlands Market, Marin and San Francisco's premier gourmet grocery store, has openings for Meat Clerk / Customer Service Superstars! Meat Clerk / Customer Service Superstars are essential to the Woodlands Market team! Candidates are responsible for maintaining an effective positive, amicable, upbeat customer service style, for answering all customer questions accurately and kindly. Candidates will observe standard operating procedures of safety and cleanliness including slicing, knife protocol, no eating in front of customers anywhere behind counter. Candidates will help maintain cleanliness/aesthetic of the meat case, and will take part in periodic cleanings of the meat cases, counters and meat department area. Who Are We? We also operate a Pet Shop in San Francisco as well as an off-site kitchen in San Rafael. Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and customer service skills a must
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills / able to prioritize work and handle multiple, concurrent tasks
  • Self-starter, taking initiative to get work done even when not supervised
