JOB SUMMARY: The Meat Clerk's role is to assist and support the Meat Department -- by providing a high level of customer service and practice safe food handling procedures and performs a variety of tasks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 1+ years meat department experience
Responsibilities
- Will have stocking and merchandising responsibilities in both the fresh and frozen cases.
- Update Product pricing as necessary.
- Ensures product's quality, protections, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers.
- Rewrap meat packages as needed.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
- Ensures great customer experience.
- Maintains pork rind rack clean and organized.
- Keeps meat displays clean and presentable.
- Store cleaning supplies properly.
- Advertising department products.
- 5:00 am start time.
- Other duties as assigned.
