About The Position
As a Meat Clerk at Town & Country Foods, you will be an integral part of our grocery store team, contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for unloading meat products from delivery trucks, counting and organizing these products, and ensuring they are stored properly to maintain freshness and safety. Your role will also include preparing meat products for retail sale, which involves tray wrapping, weighing, and pricing items accurately. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will be expected to stock and rotate products in display cases, ensuring that our offerings are visually appealing and accessible to customers. Providing excellent customer service is a key aspect of this role; you will interact with customers, answering questions and assisting them with their purchases. Maintaining cleanliness in the meat department is also crucial, as you will be responsible for cleaning work areas and equipment to uphold our high standards of hygiene.
