The Meat Clerk role involves receiving, rotating, wrapping, and merchandising fresh and processed meats, assisting with seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses. This position also requires providing assistance to Members by answering questions and recommending products, while maintaining all cleaning and safety standards within the meat department. Team members are expected to carry out job functions as assigned, support club policies, strive for flawless execution, act with honesty and integrity, lead with the member in mind, ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, work collaboratively, move with speed and agility, innovate and adapt, and maintain a friendly and positive attitude. The role also involves a daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate, Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean) and Club Standards (Grand opening look daily, all items stocked, promotional plans executed, visible accurate signage, clean and organized). Additionally, understanding how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department and seeing the connection between consistent execution and positive business impact is expected.
