They are task-driven and thrive in a collaborative environment where they can be customer-focused with a variety of responsibilities: Stock, food handling, clean and help customers Represent our quality products with expertise and enthusiasm Learn about meat products and communicate your knowledge to customers Promote our products via suggestive selling techniques Use and clean equipment such as grinder, cubing machine, patty machine, wrapper, scale, slicers, knives, etc. (must be 18+ to use and clean some equipment) (cannot use band saw) Make sure meat cases are well-stocked and look showroom-worthy Process customer orders accurately by clarifying and checking for understanding Weigh, wrap, and label merchandise Examine, stock, and rotate meats according to sell by date Break down loads and transfer to carts Cut, trim, and weigh meats for production and customer requests Work in varied temperature-controlled environments (refrigerator and freezer) Keep work area sanitary by using company approved cleaners and equipment
