About The Position

Measuring & Test Equipment (M&TE) Manager We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Measuring & Test Equipment (M&TE) Manager with experience supporting quality programs in nuclear, DOE, or highly regulated industrial environments. This position will lead the implementation and oversight of the M&TE program to ensure inspection, testing, and measurement equipment is properly controlled, calibrated, and traceable in accordance with nuclear quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of metrology and calibration programs, along with the ability to lead personnel and collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to support safe and compliant project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality, Metrology, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience supporting M&TE, metrology, calibration programs, or quality engineering within industrial or regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation, calibration processes, and measurement traceability.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening programs.
  • Subject to background screening process.
  • Ability to work in industrial construction environments, including occasional work in controlled or high-hazard areas.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 quality program requirements preferred.
  • Experience with calibration management software such as GAGEtrak, Met/Cal, or similar systems preferred.
  • Supervisory or program management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Measuring & Test Equipment (M&TE) program in compliance with applicable nuclear quality standards and site requirements.
  • Develop and maintain procedures governing the control, calibration, and lifecycle management of inspection and testing equipment.
  • Oversee calibration activities to ensure equipment accuracy and traceability to recognized standards such as NIST.
  • Manage M&TE tracking systems and documentation to maintain accurate and auditable equipment records.
  • Evaluate out-of-tolerance conditions and support investigations to determine potential quality impact.
  • Provide technical support to engineering, quality, and operations teams in determining measurement requirements and appropriate instrumentation.
  • Supervise M&TE technicians and provide training on proper equipment control and program procedures.
  • Support internal audits, quality surveillance activities, and external regulatory assessments.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Procurement to ensure proper equipment planning and usage.
  • Monitor program performance and support corrective actions related to equipment control or calibration issues.
