Job Summary Delaware Basin Overview Spanning west Texas through southeast New Mexico, ConocoPhillips holds approximately 694,000 total net acres in the Delaware Basin, which includes approximately 654,000 unconventional net acres. The company began exploring and appraising the basin’s stacked pay potential in 2012 and has gained extensive technical expertise to optimize development. At the beginning of 2024, the company operated over 2,800 producing wells throughout the Basin. In 2023, the company operated 10 drilling rigs on average and brought 148 operated wells online. Position Overview If you are selected as the Delaware Measurement Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that contract obligations and lease agreements are aligned with in regards to metering, testing, calibration and sampling in accordance with ConocoPhillips Measurement Policies and Procedures. The Measurement Technician performs most of their responsibilities at the central tank battery locations and associated well sites. This is a Safety Sensitive position.
