About The Position

The Measurement Analyst is responsible for validating, reconciling, and analyzing hydrocarbon measurement data covering gas, crude oil, NGLs, and water to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and data integrity. This role supports production accounting, revenue, operations, and compliance teams by maintaining measurement systems, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely monthly close. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field
  • 4–7+ years in Oil & Gas measurement analysis (gas and/or liquids)
  • Hands on with FlowCal (or equivalent), SCADA/historian, and EFM data sets
  • Working knowledge of API/AGA standards; meter proving and uncertainty concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Multi segment exposure (wellhead to gathering to plant/pipeline to market)
  • Power BI/Spotfire dashboards; scripting/automation experience
  • Audit experience
  • API MPMS coursework, ASQ, or vendor specific

Responsibilities

  • Validate daily, monthly, and custody transfer meter data
  • Reconcile volumes between SCADA, flow computers, and allocation systems
  • Investigate and resolve measurement discrepancies
  • Support compliance with AGA, API, GPA, BLM, FERC, etc.
  • Maintain measurement databases and documentation
  • Coordinate with field technicians on meter calibrations & maintenance
  • Participate in audits or regulatory reporting
  • Support system upgrades (SCADA, data historians, measurement software)
