About The Position

NFM’s Custom Countertops Team gets to know our customers on a personal level. They provide consultation and complex installation services for our customers. As a Measure Technician, you will be invited into our customer’s homes to perform timely, professional and accurate pre-installation measurement of area for product installation. You will play a large role in creating satisfied, loyal, life-long customers. Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
High school diploma/GED preferred
1-year measurement experience
Must have industry experience as a template technician or as an installer
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to use MS Office Applications
Must meet hiring requirements documented in DOT non-CDL policy
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Missouri residents must have Class E driver’s license
Knowledge of laws/regulations related to subcontractors
Ability to lift/push/pull required weights
Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, drug screen, chest X-Ray/RFT fit, motor vehicle and criminal background checks

Responsibilities

Coordinate with customers relevant job information as needed
Travel to customer homes and arrive within the scheduled appointment window while being sure to communicate, in advance, when running early or late
Manage Measure dimensions for product installation
Monitor Double and triple check all information to ensure accuracy in measurement
Communicate Document measurements accurately and thank the customer for their time
