Measure Techs report to an assigned Service Center Manager and coordinate orders with our Care Center team. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Requirements

• Previous glazing or glass sales history
• Ability to read tape measure, laser tools, and understand plumb and level
• Provide excellent customer service
• Attention to detail
• Professional appearance and representation
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license REQUIRED
• Must meet certain requirements to drive for company business

Responsibilities

• Provide professional communication with customer base to understand their needs and define expectations of the project being measured
• Evaluate jobsite conditions and potential risk, and document/communicate accordingly
• Conduct accurate measurements
• Demonstrate broad knowledge of glass types, window framing systems, and safety glass requirements
• Create detailed diagrams to communicate job conditions/measurements to operations and/or customer as needed
• Price and sell projects while onsite with customer, take deposits via credit card or cash as needed
• Maintain company-provided tools and fully understand proper use of them (i.e. IG laser, laptop, or tablet)
• Drive company vehicle in safe and professional manner
• Maintain an efficient schedule and provide timely service to customers
• Assist glazing in field as needed
• Other duties as assigned
