About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the AD of Facilities and Operations, this position is responsible for all aspects of coordinating the administrative functions for the campus’s meal plan program and serves as the primary point of contact for all campus departments, dining outlets & vendors regarding the meal plan program. As the primary point of contact for students & parents, this position may give presentations to parents of incoming students, sign up new participants each semester, coordinate all communication with the students & parents, assist students with interpretation of meal plan charges on their Web Portal, & coordinate in-person sales in the Meal Plan Office. This position will assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of all meal plan policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a job-related field. Additional experience in job-related field may be substituted for required education, on a year for year basis.
  • Equivalent to two years of full-time, technical, analytical, or administrative experience.
  • Working knowledge of general practices, program, and/or administrative specialty.
  • Ability and specialized skills to: Communicate and interact with a diverse population; deal effectively with students, parents and staff; organize, coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks; Interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures; work in a busy environment with frequent interruptions; work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with little supervision; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; independently prepare and draft clear and concise final form of memoranda and correspondence; keep moderately complex records and files; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others; perform basic research and statistical analysis; analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistics; compile, write and present reports related to program or administrative specialty; intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
