Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, to transport food orders across designated routes. Load and unload deliveries efficiently using manual handling techniques, heavy lifting, or equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Follow planned routes accurately, adjusting as needed to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers politely, confirming orders, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of your vehicle to ensure safety and reliability at all times. Accurately document delivery details, including signatures, timestamps, and any delivery issues encountered during shifts. Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory or organizing supplies when not on delivery routes. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with knowledge of route-driving best practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks. Familiarity with warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks related to moving and loading items safely. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
