The Position: We are recruiting for a Limited Services Meal Delivery Driver to work at our Senior Center in Evans. This position will be responsible for all areas of food preparation according to planned/approved AAA guidelines; packaging; serving clients; ordering, receiving and storing supplies; completing necessary paperwork and inventory control; and maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen and equipment. A minimum of three years driving experience and a high school diploma or GED is required. At time of interview, please provide a copy of your 7-year Motor Vehicle Report. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and one year related experience
- A minimum of three years driving experience
- At time of interview, please provide a copy of your 7-year Motor Vehicle Report.
Responsibilities
- Package and deliver meals to home-delivered meals clients as assigned
- Maintain agency/state vehicles in a safe, efficient manner
- Report performance or safety issues related to vehicle to county coordinator in a timely manner
- Complete reports and other program documents as assigned
- Follow all food-safety guidelines
- Provide quality customer service to external and internal customers
- Assist county coordinator in maintaining a clean, safe facility.
- Attend and participate in training as assigned.
- Maintain a private automobile with proper liability insurance and a Georgia Driver’s License.
