The Evening Supervisor at the Meadows Campus Sports Complex is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the daily administration, operation, and management of the facility during evening hours. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Athletics, this position is responsible for overseeing a variety of athletic facilities, including a 180,000 square foot Racquet Center that features tennis, squash, fitness areas, and a large special event space, as well as a softball stadium, baseball stadium, rugby complex, and cross country course. The working hours for this role are determined by the building's schedule and the time of year, with evening shifts likely extending until midnight from Monday to Friday during the academic year. In this role, the Evening Supervisor will be stationed at the front entry welcome desk, controlling access to various areas of the facility while representing the athletic department in a professional manner. The supervisor will enforce all policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure the well-being of all patrons. This position requires strong interpersonal skills to interact with facility users, resolve customer complaints, and provide information about the department of athletics and the university community. Additionally, the supervisor will manage reservations for tennis and squash courts, maintain accurate records of court usage, and handle daily collection and deposit of tennis fees. The Evening Supervisor will also be responsible for locking and unlocking facilities, supervising student and casual hourly staff, and assisting in the management of special events held at the Meadows Campus as needed. Adherence to Ivy League and NCAA rules and regulations is essential, and the supervisor will perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Director of Athletics or Facilities Operations Manager.
