The RN MDS Coordinator plays a crucial role in the management team of a Senior Care community, ensuring the quality and compliance of resident assessments and care planning according to regulatory standards. This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in MDS coordination, focusing on delivering high-quality care to residents.

  • Oversee the quality, timeliness, and appropriateness of resident assessments and care planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to enhance care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of MDS processes.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MDS Coordinator.
  • Experience in a Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing setting.
  • Strong assessment skills and clinical knowledge.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient understanding of State and Federal guidelines related to nursing and MDS.
  • Associate's degree in nursing preferred.
  • 3 years of nursing experience preferred.
