About The Position

MDS Coordinator (RN) – Full-Time Join Ginger Cove, a premier life-care community in Annapolis known for exceptional care and a collaborative clinical environment. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinator in our Health Center. What You’ll Do: • Coordinate and complete MDS assessments and care plans • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of documentation and compliance • Lead and participate in care plan meetings with residents and families • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams • Monitor quality indicators and support performance improvement initiatives • Partner with billing/finance to support Medicare and reimbursement accuracy • Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness Schedule: • Full-Time position • 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (Primarily day shift hours) • On call rotation as needed (weekends as assigned) Why This Role Stands Out: • Primarily day schedule with consistent hours • Opportunity to step into a leadership-focused, non-floor role • Collaborative interdisciplinary team environment • Make a direct impact on resident care quality and outcomes • Work in a respected, CARF-accredited community What Makes You a Great Fit: • Detail-oriented and highly organized • Strong clinical judgment and regulatory knowledge • Comfortable collaborating across departments • Passionate about improving resident outcomes

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  • MDS experience required
  • Strong knowledge of MDS regulations and submission process
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
