MDS Coordinator/Registered Nurse
About The Position
We are currently seeking Full-Time MDS Registered Nurses (RN) who possess excellent organizational, leadership, assessment and documentation skills. MDS experience in a long-term care setting and a Registered Nursing license in the state of Kansas is required. This RN specialist must also be proficient in electronic health record systems; familiarity with MatrixCare EHR software is a plus. In addition, the candidate must have a strong understanding of Missouri Case Mix, participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits and have the ability to work closely with the inter-disciplinary team to ensure the level of care provided is fully supported in the documentation. This nurse plays a key role in obtaining accurate reimbursement for Medicare under the Prospective Payment System (PDPM) as well as Medicaid reimbursement through the Case Mix System. Requirements
- Excellent organizational, leadership, assessment and documentation skills
- MDS experience in a long-term care setting
- Registered Nursing license in the state of Kansas
