About The Position

MDM Specialist (Veeva Vault & Align) South San Francisco, CA – 3 days onsite a week Role Overview: The Senior MDM Specialist will lead the data strategy and governance for the commercial and clinical ecosystems. You will be responsible for the end-to-end alignment between Veeva Vault (Platform/Network) and Veeva Align, ensuring that territory assignments, account data, and field force structures are architecturally sound and compliant.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years in MDM or Data Governance, with at least 3 years specifically focused on the Veeva ecosystem.
• Veeva Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Veeva Align (territory modeling, project management) and Veeva Vault (Object Framework, Lifecycles).
• Technical Skills: Advanced SQL, experience with Veeva API/Loader, and a strong understanding of GxP and 21 CFR Part 11.

Nice To Haves

• Certification: Veeva Vault Administrator or Veeva Align Administrator certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Architecture: Design and optimize the data flow between Veeva Network (MDM), Veeva Vault, and Veeva Align to ensure a "Single Source of Truth."
• Align Governance: Lead the design of complex Territory Assignment Rules (TAR) and manage the integration between Roster Member data in Vault and Territory structures in Align.
• Integration Leadership: Oversee the technical "Push/Pull" processes between Veeva CRM and Veeva Align, ensuring data integrity during quarterly field force alignments.
• Process Optimization: Lead the impact assessment for Veeva’s tri-annual releases, specifically identifying how new features in Vault or Align can improve business workflows.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and quality oversight for Junior MDM resources and cross-functional business analysts.
