About The Position

The Installer Team is responsible for the remote upgrade of Point-of-Sale (POS) handheld devices across a global retail fleet. The MDM Migration Specialist will support a large-scale initiative migrating Android-based handheld devices from a legacy Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform to a new environment. This role focuses on remote upgrades, tracking progress, and partnering with internal teams to meet daily deployment goals.

Requirements

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
• High attention to detail with excellent follow-through
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• 1+ year of experience working with Android OS devices in a retail environment

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail experience
• Experience supporting or troubleshooting Android-based POS or handheld devices

Responsibilities

• Perform remote software upgrades and migrations of POS handheld devices
• Migrate Android devices from legacy MDM to the current MDM platform
• Follow daily store deployment schedules and meet project quotas
• Update project tracking and documentation as work progresses
• Escalate technical or process issues to the project lead as needed
• Participate in daily team stand-ups and project meetings
• Provide regular status updates to leadership
• Support and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
