About The Position

PeaceHealth Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Urologist to join a new Urology service line with PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. Join three Urologists, well-supported by administration. Join a team multispecialty group with established general and bariatric surgeons and advanced practice clinicians as well as a breast surgeon, vascular surgeons, trauma surgeons and OB/GYN. PeaceHealth also has a strong primary care base. PHMG has multiple specialties that have patients requiring reconstructive plastic surgery services. This includes but is not limited to breast surgery, bariatric surgery, trauma surgery, ENT, and dermatology. Vancouver is a robust, independent city with over 160,000 residents and is the largest suburb of Portland, Oregon. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy quick access to the Pacific Ocean, Mount Hood, Mount St. Helens, and never-ending recreational activities of the Pacific Northwest. We are home to some of the world's best mountain biking and wind-surfing locales. Nationally recognized farm-to-table cuisine, craft microbreweries, and gourmet coffeehouses. Requirements

  • Accredited School of Medicine Required.
  • Completion of Internship/Residency Program in area of specialty.
  • Computer experience.
  • Licensed to practice as a physician in the State, and board certified or board eligible.
  • Drug Enforcement Admin Federal Number.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS or PALS required as a condition of employment within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

  • Practice of medicine within the scope of license, training and credentialing.
  • Practice of medicine in accordance with the current standards of care as well as the quality criteria adopted by the clinic.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of patients served by demonstrating knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
