About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Analyst - Senior works independently and successfully engages simultaneously in multiple initiatives of moderate to high complexity identifying ways that revenue cycle technology improves workflow. Is responsible for activities that cover analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation as well as application support, performing troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Serves as a primary mentor and utilizes expertise in application logic, providing technical guidance and oversight, and technical expertise. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of work experience required.
  • Knowledge of software development, revenue cycle systems implementation and systems development lifecycle.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of various training techniques for users with various learning styles.
  • Advanced knowledge of HL7 concepts and operating within an Integrated HealthCare applications environment.
  • Advanced ability to manage multiple tasks within deadline constraints.
  • Intermediate CCL/SQL knowledge and relational database knowledge.
  • Ability to work with no supervision while supervising people and projects.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL principles.
  • Strong MD-Staff knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational requirements and system capabilities to propose effective solutions.
  • Develop system design, including functional specifications, and implement strategies based upon the analysis of specific operational needs.
  • Analyze business and user needs and document business requirements, define benefits and estimate cost at an advanced level.
  • Complete application configuration changes and obtain change control sign off.
  • Configure application changes according to standards and document application changes, testing plans, testing results and project requirements.
  • Test configuration and workflow changes, develop test scripts, and perform unit, system, and integration testing.
  • Optimize, maintain and support application/system as required.
  • Provide on-call support, troubleshoot and resolve complex production support issues.
  • Lead collaboration and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify data integrity issues and analyze data and process flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Create and provide department and/or customer documentation related to AIT Revenue and Administrative Systems solutions.
  • Train customers on how to use revenue cycle applications with advanced expertise.
  • Provide Go-Live Support including necessary travel to AHS facilities within Florida and out of state.
  • Oversee projects with minimal to no supervision including planning, design, execution and ongoing monitoring.
  • Act as super user to application, train and mentor new employees.
  • Use CCL, Scripting and database knowledge to research and problem solve technical issues.
