This new position of Curriculum Development Manager will lead the development, implementation, evaluation and ongoing compliance of all training for sworn and civilian staff for MCSO. This role is critical in ensuring our members receive the highest quality training, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to serve our community safely, effectively and professionally. As the Manager of Curriculum Development, you will be responsible for translating high-level initiatives directed by the Sheriff and Sheriff's Office senior management into viable agency wide programs; stay current on certification standards and best practices in public safety training; manage a budget for curriculum development and implementation; and collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts.
