About The Position

Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces. Job Summary: Monitors the performance of the activities of personnel performing GCSS-MC duties within the Commodities such as data input to Service Requests, Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) Table for the PM Scheduler, debriefing material, standardization of vehicle record folders. Reviews and analyzes expenditure, financial, and operational reports to determine requirements and makes recommendations to management that will improve overall efficiency. Through analytical reports pulled daily, ensures all completed work is in compliance with specifications and time schedules. Provides the formulation of administrative and operational policies and procedures and ensures compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and government regulations. Provides technical guidance/assistance, training and makes decisions where written guidelines are not available. Plans and manages human resource activities within assigned area of responsibility, and within an organized labor-union environment. Assist in recruiting and hiring employees. Supervises direct reports. Maintains established performance objectives/goals. Assist in monitoring employee progress against goals. Maintains MPF ISO policies and procedures and ensures on-going compliance with such. Performs other related duties as assigned,

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in related discipline. In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, other formalized training or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.
  • Five years of directly related work experience in a GCSS environment.
  • Completed Educational modules in GCSS-MC, or equivalent.
  • Ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements.
  • Ability to analyze reports and forecast GSCC-MC shortfalls in the data requirements.
  • Ability to analyze GCSS-MC reports to determine methods of improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts reconciliations with Supply and the Commodities
  • Review/validation of the End of Ship Reports
  • Assist in maintaining ISO Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Review and reconcile internal required publications for the Commodity.
  • Ability to update Share Point
  • Ability to extract the following reports from the L: Drive (MMR) and GCSS – Perpetual, Mod’s, CAL, SR’s by Ship and PM Scheduler both Vehicle and Organic.
  • Working knowledge of Databases and Excel (Pivot tables)
  • Responds to IQS QRF’s in support of Maintenance Operations
  • Working knowledge of the Share point site to update and post reports
  • Understanding of all Maintenance related reports – Who to see – How to correct the problem
