Internship Overview We are seeking a Mechanical ”and/or” Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team and gain hands‑on experience in equipment maintenance, process optimization, and system troubleshooting. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop practical engineering skills while supporting reliable, efficient, and safe manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must be at least a sophomore‑level student.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CAD and SOLIDWORKS software, automation, or electrical design tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical “and/or” electrical systems.
  • Support new or existing designs, testing, and implementation of equipment modifications and driving efficiency.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to diagnose and resolve operational issues.
  • Assist in implementing automation, controls, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Help document maintenance procedures, engineering changes, and technical reports.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely communication and execution of engineering solutions.
