About The Position
The position involves providing academic advising, career exploration/counseling, and transfer advising for students enrolled in career and technical programs. The advisor will assist CTE (Career Technical Education) students in developing career plans and overcoming obstacles to completing their programs. Responsibilities also include helping students access and complete Focus 2 career assessment programs, assisting the Coordinator of Internships and Career Placement with the management of career counseling activities, and participating in student advising and registration sessions to ensure timely course registration.
