About The Position
MCAT Tutor (Part-Time, Remote) Are you passionate about making a difference in students’ lives? Novastar Prep is seeking dedicated MCAT tutors to join our team. This is an opportunity to work 1:1 with highly motivated pre-med students in a supportive, personalized, and academically rigorous environment. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred
- Demonstrated mastery of MCAT content and structure (high score strongly preferred)
- 1+ year of MCAT tutoring or relevant teaching experience
- Clear, structured, and student-centered instruction
- Strong internet connection and comfort with virtual platforms
- Willingness to commit to at least one semester
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Provide focused instruction for the MCAT , including strategy, content review, practice analysis, and test-taking skills
- Support students across key MCAT sections (Biological & Biochemical Foundations, Chemical & Physical Foundations, Psychological & Social Foundations, CARS)
- Help students build confidence, endurance, and a structured study plan
