Our Mechanical Engineering team leads in the design, development, and production of radar, sonar, torpedo, and combat system equipment. The Air Defense Ground Equipment (ADGE) Department is looking for a full-time on-site Mechanical Engineer to join the MCAD (Mechanical Computer-Aided Design) team in Tewksbury, MA. This role involves mechanical design, development, and documentation of components and systems for defense equipment, requiring collaboration with various engineering and non-technical disciplines.

Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components, sub-assemblies, and major end items for defense system equipment.
Interface with other engineering disciplines, non-technical disciplines, and suppliers to develop design solutions and resolve technical challenges.
Support product integration domestically and internationally.
Support development, evaluation, and analysis of mechanical designs.
Generate drawings, release drawings, and incorporate drawing changes.
Resolve change requests from manufacturing or suppliers.
Hold design reviews and resolve action items.
Develop rework and/or modification procedures.
Support the production floor by collecting issues, providing status, and participating in problem resolution.
Utilize CREO CAD tool for modeling and documentation creation.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Engineering project experience.
12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
U.S. citizenship required.

3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or other presentation tools.
