About The Position

The Opening/Closing Manager at McDonald's is responsible for overseeing the opening shifts of the restaurant, ensuring that operations run smoothly and that customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. This role involves leadership, planning, and maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness while managing a team of crew members and other managers during shifts.

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, specifically from 4 AM to 11 AM or 4 AM to 1 PM.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be a manager.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Driver's License (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the restaurant is set up for the day and ready for customers.
  • Provide leadership to crew and other managers during shifts.
  • Monitor performance and take action to meet McDonald's standards.
  • Ensure food safety and maintain daily cleanliness.
  • Manage crew quality and food production.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure safety and security during shifts.
  • Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for upcoming shifts.
