About The Position

Our Measurement Technician will assist in the maintenance and calibration of regulating and measuring equipment including electronic instrumentation used to monitor gas quality and assist in the maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments and sampling systems. Requirements

  • A High School Diploma/GED along with knowledge of using hand tools
  • A valid driver’s license that will be verified upon hire
  • Show a solid understanding of basic math with decimals and fractions along with the ability to use a personal computer and related software’s
  • See objects at close range and determine the distance and relationship between objects along with matching or discriminating between colors
  • Capable of understanding and completing written and oral instructions and also able to respond to audible and visual alarms
  • Able to respond to emergency conditions which may include: changing flat tires, chaining up vehicle, operating jack, performing minor maintenance, and operating a two-way radio and/or cell phone

  • Automation or measurement experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance and calibration of regulating and measuring equipment such as pneumatic control systems and electronic measurement devices
  • Assist in the maintenance of the accuracy of gas measurement devices used by customers
  • Assist in the validation of the accuracy of gas measurement devices used by other companies
  • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments
  • Produce calibration reports
  • While developing in this role, you will be encouraged to become knowledgeable of the operation and maintenance of gas regulating and measurement equipment and electronics pertaining to gas measurement and monitoring equipment
