Want to be part of an MBSE effort that's driving integration and accelerating weapons systems analysis across the Intelligence Community? Peraton was recently awarded a highly strategic mission: to design and implement a consolidated, integrated MBSE architecture across all major Intel Centers in support of Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD). This unified architecture will speed up threat analysis, improve decision-making, and ensure technical synchronization across a national mission. Join our cross-agency, multi-location national team, with key support at NASIC (Dayton, OH), ONI (Suitland, MD), MSIC (Redstone Arsenal, AL), and NGIC (Charlottesville, VA). You will help shape the future of systems analysis and command & control modeling at the enterprise level-creating a tangible impact on national defense.

  • Provide on-site MBSE support at major intelligence centers (Huntsville, Suitland, Dayton, Charlottesville)
  • Develop high-fidelity Systems Modeling Language (SysML) architecture models focused on foreign missile systems and Command & Control (C2) systems
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrated DoDAF-compliant system architecture views and SysML artifacts
  • Collaborate with government technical leads, product owners, and agency stakeholders on system modeling and requirements
  • Produce high-quality technical and design documentation in support of system development and analysis
  • Drive MBSE standardization, integration, and best practices across the joint environment
  • 8+ years of systems engineering experience with a BS/BA; 6+ years of relevant experience with MS/MA, and 3+ years of relevant experience with Ph.D. (An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudicated and able to pass a polygraph
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools
  • Experience developing SysML artifacts in support of real-world systems
  • Familiarity with ITASE (Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment)
  • Working knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple agencies and locations in a coordinated technical team
  • Experience supporting or working within the Intelligence Community (IC)
  • Familiarity with some of the following tools: Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, Cameo Simulation Toolkit, RMSiS, MathWorks, CATIA, Simulink, STK, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, UAF/SysML, Enovia, NGTS, AFSIM
