Unlike many other departments at a movie studio, Paramount Pictures Strategy and Insights team spans the entire movie lifecycle. This team aims to be the voice of the consumer and keep the consumer at the heart of the studio's decision-making. Our insights-driven work spans everything from understanding the DNA of a brand before it is developed into a movie, to immersing production in a fanbase, to testing and optimizing the movie itself, to making sure marketing materials truly speak to and excite consumers. Across each phase of a movie's lifecycle, the team conducts custom quantitative and qualitative studies that can help the studio meet its business goals and objectives. We're seeking candidates who love understanding people and who are natural problem-solvers driven by finding solutions. While anyone in research needs to be comfortable with data and highly analytical, we also need to have great communicators who love telling stories from the insights. We are looking for people with a hunger for understanding consumer behaviors, understanding market trends, and an appetite for content and marketing.
