About The Position

The May Stockwell Staff (MSS) is responsible for pre-season camp operations by completing projects, organizing program areas, and assisting the Senior Director (SD) in preparing Lake Stockwell Day Camp for a successful summer. This job announcement is not intended to be inclusive of all functions, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the position, however, representative of the essential job functions and typical criteria considered necessary to successfully perform the position.

Requirements

Must be 20 years of age or older
Have knowledge in the daily operation of camp programs, including staff and camper supervision.
Knowledge in safety, care of equipment and supplies, inventory, skill instructions and progressive age appropriate programming
Relevant experience in drafting and responding to emails, as well as making phone calls
Must show enthusiasm, dedication, responsibility and maturity
Have the ability to interact and communicate clearly with campers, parents and staff.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Canva, Google programs, and Remind is preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete work projects and assist with preparing program areas, facilities, and equipment for the upcoming camp season.
Support SD with administrative tasks including schedule creation, program preparation, and operational planning.
Organize and inventory supplies across camp, including the camp store, activity areas, and storage spaces.
Assist with international arrival logistics, including preparation for orientation and supporting arrival days.
Work collaboratively with with SD and May Support Team
