About The Position

This position serves as a Maximo Support Analyst for the Operations Maximo Team of the Office of Asset Management and Support Services. The individual in this role will be responsible for delivering monthly and on-demand training/support to over 300 Maximo software users across different MDTA offices. They will create training materials and Standard Operating Procedures to improve users' skills and assist them in adapting to new business processes and technologies. Additionally, the role involves supporting the research, development, planning, and implementation of MDTA's Maximo-based Enterprise Asset Management System, ensuring it meets operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
  • Three years experience in administrative or professional work
  • One year and six months of this experience must include working with IBM Maximo or similar enterprise asset management systems

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders
  • Experience with state government facility support operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, Access Database, Outlook and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Support Maximo end-users and related activities for the Division of Operations
  • Collaborate with the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) to conduct information-gathering sessions and establish best practices for Maximo
  • Assist in running monthly credit card logs to ensure general ledger (GL) codes and purchase orders are correct and in compliance with state regulations
  • Provide end-user support and assistance with questions related to the day-to-day business process of Maximo
  • Assist and review the work of end users to ensure the data entered into the Maximo database is accurate and up to date
  • Assist in researching and adding inventory items using the National Institute of Government Purchasing codes and best practices
  • Assist the Maximo Database Specialist Supervisor in the day-to-day management of all Maximo-related business processes, such as ad hoc reporting, job plans, work orders, preventative maintenance, purchase orders, highway assets, and stockroom inventory
  • Assist DoIT with maintaining data integrity, validation and security by establishing strategies, policies, standards and methods for Division of Operations Maximo end-users to follow
