About The Position

Symetri is an Autodesk Platinum Partner that consults with manufacturers to design better products and get to market faster by leveraging best-in-class engineering, design, process automation, and data management technologies. We're looking for a seasoned Maximo professional who's passionate about building high-quality, reliable solutions that make a real impact for clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes-designing, integrating, and automating robust Maximo environments that support complex enterprise operations. As a key member of our technical delivery team, you'll take ownership of backend configuration, installation, and integration design within the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) ecosystem. Your expertise will help ensure our clients' systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills-both verbal and written
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 7+ years of hands-on technical and functional experience with Maximo, including modifications, interfaces, conversions, and business process design
  • Experience with at least two 7.6.1 → MAS migrations
  • Deep understanding of Maximo data structures, Application Designer, and workflow design
  • Expertise in Maximo Integration Framework and/or Maximo Enterprise Adapter integrations
  • Java or JavaScript development experience: 5 years Java (3 years MBO customization), or 5 years JavaScript (3 years MBO extension)
  • Strong SQL development experience
  • Proven experience installing and configuring WebSphere + Maximo , OpenShift , and MAS Manage environments
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with formal change control and regulatory development environments
  • CI/CD pipeline development and automation experience
  • Hands-on IBM Maximo Mobile development and deployment experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation and configuration of new MAS Manage environments, including OpenShift deployments
  • Scope and design high-performance integrations between MAS and other enterprise systems
  • Develop automation scripts and extensions that enhance MAS Manage functionality
  • Support migration efforts (including data and integration remapping) from legacy 7.6.1 environments to MAS
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions aligned with client needs
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with precision and efficiency
  • Uphold exceptional quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
